The Clash with the Red Mango Girl

Heya!

Red Mango was introduced to me by my very good friend slash Red Mango endorser, Jho, sometime of September last year. We met after our office hours and decided to have some yogurt delights before catching a movie. And since her lovely face is printed on the wall of the store saying “Hey come and have a yogurt with me!”, I got my bowl of yogurt for free! Wee!



Jho had the frozen yogurt topped with mangoes and Fruity Pebbles. I preferred it topped with blueberries and banana slices. Jho was actually asking if I wanted mangoes but unfortunately I’m not a very big fan of those so she just offered me to double my banana servings. I know. I’m weird. Maybe I’m just the only person in the whole Philippine archipelago who doesn’t like eating the national fruit and I’m sorry. haha!

Anyway the yogurt is perfect! Smooth, sweet but equally sour. It gives you the feeling that the one you’re eating is actually healthy. I’ve tried other frozen yogurts, some are too creamy and sweet, some are too sour and others feel like they’ve been mixed with crushed ice. You just want that perfect blend and I think Red Mango did a great job on this. Ambience is great and the staff are uber nice! Pramis! Ok now I’m craving. Errr…..

Nestlé Fruit Selection Yogurt + Jelly

I discovered this sweet concoction weeks ago in a grocery near my apartment. I bought one last night to satisfy my craving but didn’t actually thought of blogging it while i was at the store haha so I didn’t really mind the perforation on the label, err my bad. The sticker on the fridge says that it should sell at P20, cheap for a cup of healthy yumminess, but purchased it for P22, i think.

Anyway, this is my favorite snack right now. I like jellies. I like yogurts. So combining them together brings fireworks to my ears. I used to eat the jelly at the top first but eventually thought of mixing them up together before scooping is a better idea. Sweet, a little sour with strawberry bits plus the texture of jelly gives something extra to your sweet tooth experience. A must try! Also available in Buco Pandan.

Bully

I was strolling around Rustan’s, Alabang Town Center and saw the cutest coin bank ever! Its french bull dog figure catched my attention and fell in love with it at that very moment. Maybe because, I love dogs. And not having one saddens me. So when I saw Bully (yes the dog has a name), I was up for the grab.
 


Unfortunately, when I asked the salesperson to get me a stock, he cannot locate it in the stockroom saying that, this line of products just arrived earlier that day.

So anyway, when I got back in Manila, I decided to drop by Rustan’s in Glorietta to check if Bully is available there. And yes! This time I’m lucky enough to have my hand on my french bulldog coinbank, and yes, stocks are available as well. For the price of Php495, I guess saving up will be more interesting for me.

So after ages of waiting, finally, we had managed to come up with a shoot with my “Buhay-baboy” friends. Well except for Bugsy because he was then on a sort-of field trip-ish out of town to Bataan! Haha Woke very early for this day. Around 6:30 in the morning I may say so I can make it on time. I was partly drunk the night before and I was still feeling the alcohol when I met with Jho and Bambi haha. Fun fun shoot! I’ve never done portraits for the longest time! And I can say that I’m pretty much satisfied with these.

The Ultimate Breakfast Dinner

When I went home down south sometime May this year, my cousin, Jenny, and I decided to have an early dinner at this place called, Bag of Beans. It’s this garden-ish place with a jaw-dropping ambience located in Tagaytay City. By the time that we were ushered to our seats, I automatically eyed on the breakfast menu. Personally, I think breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day. Thank God their breakfasts are available all day. And then I was confused. What to get? Until I saw the shining, shimmering name of the “Breakfast Sampler”. I was thinking like, an egg, a small pancake, 2 or 3 strips of bacon and a piece longganisa and ham. Jen ordered for Puttanesca and a strawberry shake, and a glass of orange juice for me.

After waiting for a few minutes, tic-tac-tic-tac, our orders arrived and boom!

There’s this huuuuuuuuuuuge plate of goodies infront of me. And I say, this Breakfast Sampler for Php350, geez, this is ‘da bomb! A pancake, 2eggs, 2pcs of ham, 2pcs of longganisa, 2 hashbrowns and loads of bacon strips. Yummy! Though I felt like I’ll be needing to check on my blood pressure after this delightful dinner. haha. It’s actually good for 2 persons already. When you get this, just share it to whoever you are with and get a cup of garlic rice each. Solb na solb na!
